We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Client in their established and growing Accountancy Practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional to take ownership of a varied client portfolio, work closely with senior management and benefit from a genuine long-term progression opportunity.
What You\'ll Be Doing:
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact
- Preparing and reviewing accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns
- Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns
- Providing clients with proactive advice and identifying opportunities to add value
- Assisting with audit assignments where required
- Reviewing the work of junior and semi-senior members of the team
- Supporting senior management with advisory work and special projects
- Attending client meetings and developing strong, long-term relationships
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the practice
What We\'re Looking For:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong post-qualification experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge across accounts, corporation tax and personal tax
- Experience reviewing the work of junior members of staff
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach
- Confident working independently while also contributing to a wider team
- Experience using accountancy practice software
Benefits on Offer:
- £45,000 - £55,000 salary, depending on experience
