We are looking for a Qualified Accountant to join our Client’s well‑established and growing Finance Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional to take ownership of key accounting responsibilities while supporting the wider business with accurate reporting, financial analysis and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Take ownership of the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy
- Complete month-end journals, accruals and prepayments
- Support the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and audit requirements
- Produce financial reports and provide meaningful analysis to support business decisions
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on financial matters
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting
- Support the wider Finance Team with ad‑hoc analysis and accounting projects
- Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete and maintained in line with relevant standards and company procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within a commercial environment
- Strong understanding of management accounts, month‑end and financial reporting
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysisStrong Excel skills and experience using accounting/ERP systems such as Sage, Xero or SAP
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicating financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Proactive and commercially minded approach
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A team player who is comfortable taking ownership and working independently
