We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a fast-paced and growing finance team based in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger or any Finance Administrative experience who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities as the Purchase Ledger Assistant:
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently
- Matching, batching and reconciling invoices to purchase orders and supplier statements
- Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and supplier queries in a timely manner
- Processing subcontractor invoices in line with HMRC regulations
- Reconciling supplier accounts and monitoring outstanding balances
- Supporting payment runs and maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with finance workflows and supporting process improvements across the Purchase Ledger function
- Building strong relationships with suppliers
