We are looking for a Personal Tax Associate to join our Client in their expanding and well-regarded Tax Team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing personal tax returns for a varied portfolio of clients
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of P11Ds
- Supporting clients with personal tax compliance and responding to day-to-day queries
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and assisting with advisory work
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients where required
- Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring compliance with HMRC deadlines
- Building strong relationships with clients and providing an excellent level of service
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver a high-quality, joined-up service
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a personal tax role within a UK accountancy practice
- Good understanding of UK personal tax legislation and HMRC compliance requirements
- Experience preparing personal tax returns for a varied client portfolio
- Knowledge of P11Ds and personal tax planning would be advantageous
- ATT qualified, studying towards ATT/CTA, or qualified by experience (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
