An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper to join a growing and supportive finance team, managing your own portfolio of clients across a varied and rewarding role.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing purchase and sales ledgers, including raising and entering invoices using Sage/Xero.
- Processing sales orders and purchase orders using Sage/Xero.
- Completing regular bank reconciliations.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
- Ensuring strict HMRC deadlines are met.
- Working with multiple currencies, bank accounts, departments and CIS.
- Producing accounts up to trial balance stage (desirable).
- Maintaining accurate files and ensuring financial data is entered accurately and in a timely manner.
- Supporting with other day-to-day accounts and office duties as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- AAT qualified.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar bookkeeping/accounts role.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
- Confident working independently and off-site when required.
- Experience using Sage and/or Xero.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with CIS, multiple currencies or producing accounts to trial balance stage would be advantageous.
