For over 30 years our Client has been at the forefront of Design / Engineering - due to the continued success of the Group they are looking to appoint a Management Accountant who can either be Qualified by Experience / Finalist ACCA - CIMA or fully Qualified. Our Client will be looking for experience within the Engineering / Design or Manufacturing Sectors.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
- Annual Salary of c £45,000 - £47,000
- Annual Salary based review - based on personal performance

THE ROLE OF THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - skills and experience needed
The Management Accountant will work as part of a small and proactive Finance team - the role will report to the Finance Controller. We are looking for characters who can plan, manage and execute their own loads - people who are self-sufficient but who also will enjoy working as part of a small, close-knit team.
Your role as the Management Accountant will take you across Year and Month End more specifically this will include:
- Preparation of Management Accounts to be reviewed by External Accounts
- End to end Preparation of Management Accounts pack to include - Profit and Loss / Balance Sheet / Debtors and Creditors Analysis and Project Margin Analysis v Cost of Sales
- Day to Day / Weekly functions will include Bank Reconciliations - Sterling / US Dollars and Euro
- VAT and HMRC submission
- Stock Management and Reporting - including factoring in increased Costs due to Global Issues
- Ad hoc Projects
