We are working with a fast growing accounting practice based just outside of the Tameside Area who are looking to bring in a Client Accountant. This is the perfect role for someone who wants to gain ownership of a portfolio of diverse clients and build on already strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing annual accounts and corporation tax returns
- Preparing self assessment tax returns
- Handling client bookkeeping and reconciliations
- Preparing VAT returns
- Acting as the main point of contact for assigned clients
- Answering queries and explaining figures to clients
- Working on cloud accounting software such as Xero and Dext
- Supporting your portfolio of clients with Cash flow, Reporting and Performance Insights
What we want:
- Proven experience within a Practice environment
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in various cloud accounting software, including Xero and Dext
- Experience in financial management and reporting is essential
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
