We’re pleased to be working with one of our longstanding clients who are on the market for a Supply Chain Coordinator, they are looking for someone that will play a vital operational role in supporting the procurement of Raw Materials, Components and operational purchasing across a high volume manufacturing plant.

This position sits at the intersection of procurement, production planning and inventory control.

Supply Chain Coordinator – The Role

  • Involvement in the Operational Purchasing & Order Execution.
  • Convert MRP signals and internal purchase requisitions into accurate PO’s using ERP systems.
  • Monitor open supplier orders, track delivery schedules, expediting critical shipments as needed to prevent production interruptions or in line stops.
  • Maintain accuracy of PO delivery dates, quantities, and prices within the ERM system, to ensure operational transparency across production and warehouse teams.
  • Monitor inventory levels against production schedules; adjust safety stock levels and reorder parameters in tandem with demand fluctuations.
  • Collaborate with incoming quality assurance and warehouse receiving to resolve missing paperwork, non-conforming goods, quantity shortfalls, or damaged shipments.
  • Reconciling raw material and component physical stock counts to book stock investigate any discrepancies, correcting stock and implementing and corrective actions.
