We are looking for an Accounts Audit Assistant to join our Client in their expanding and well-regarded Accountancy Practice.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
- Supporting audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Preparing working papers and maintaining accurate client records
- Assisting with corporation tax computations and related compliance work
- Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
- Working closely with senior team members to deliver high-quality client service
- Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
- Supporting the wider accounts and audit team with ad-hoc projects as required
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice
- Exposure to accounts preparation and/or audit assignments
- AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, or studying towards a professional qualification
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
