We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our Client in their expanding and well-regarded Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function and play a key role in supporting the wider business.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing the day-to-day finance function and overseeing the finance team
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Managing the month-end and year-end processes
- Overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control functions
- Monitoring cash flow, budgets and business performance
- Preparing and analysing financial information for senior management
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations
- Maintaining strong financial controls and processes
- Liaising with auditors, accountants, banks and other external stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or similar senior finance position
- AAT, ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification/part-qualification is desirable
- Strong understanding of month-end, management accounts and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Experience managing or supervising a finance team
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
- Commercially aware with the ability to communicate financial information effectively
- Organised, proactive and able to work independently
