We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Client in their established and growing Accountancy Practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional to take ownership of a varied client portfolio, work closely with senior management and benefit from a genuine long-term progression opportunity .
What You’ll Be Doing:
Managing a varied portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact
Preparing and reviewing accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns
Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns
Providing clients with proactive advice and identifying opportunities to add value
Assisting with audit assignments where required
Reviewing the work of junior and semi-senior members of the team
Supporting senior management with advisory work and special projects
Attending client meetings and developing strong, long-term relationships
Contributing to the continued growth and development of the practice
What We’re Looking For:
ACA or ACCA qualified
Strong post-qualification experience within an accountancy practice
Strong technical knowledge across accounts, corporation tax and personal tax
Experience reviewing the work of junior members of staff
Excellent communication and client management skills
Commercially minded with a proactive approach
Confident working independently while also contributing to a wider team
Experience using accountancy practice software
Benefits on Offer:
£45,000 – £55,000 salary, depending on experience
