We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our Client in their rapidly growing finance team.

What You'll Be Doing
- Managing your own portfolio of clients and taking responsibility for their day-to-day bookkeeping needs
- Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions, including raising and entering invoices using Sage and Xero
- Processing sales orders and purchase orders accurately and efficiently
- Completing regular bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns while ensuring all HMRC deadlines are met
- Working across multiple currencies, bank accounts, and departments where required
- Assisting with CIS-related accounting requirements
- Producing accounts up to trial balance stage where required
- Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring financial information is entered correctly and on time
- Providing general day-to-day accounting support across your client portfolio
What We're Looking For
- AAT part- qualified / qualified
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounts role
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and general accounting processes
- Experience using Sage and Xero
- Good understanding of VAT and HMRC requirements
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to deal directly with clients
- Comfortable working independently both in the office and at client premises
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage your own workload effectively
