What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting with day-to-day finance and accounts activities.
- Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Assisting with purchase and sales ledger activities.
- Processing payments and updating financial records.
- Completing bank reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies.
- Supporting with month-end processes and general finance administration.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring information is entered in a timely manner.
- Assisting with the preparation and organisation of financial information.
- Using accounting systems and Excel to process, analyse and maintain financial data.
- Providing general support to the wider finance and accounts team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar finance role.
- A good understanding of general accounting and finance processes.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A positive and professional approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
