About the role
General Duties as an Import Coordinator
Managing ocean freight shipments from A to Z
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clients satisfaction through effective communication and problems solving
Submit and manage customs declaration using CDS, ensuring full compliance with HMRC requirements
Arranging containers delivery according to the capacity of the warehouse
Ensure efficient routes and scheduling of shipments to optimise transportation costs and delivery times
Liaising with shipping lines to obtain cargo release
Arranging payment of freight and other charges, or collection of payment on behalf of the client
Review, verify and resolve invoice discrepancies from truckers and shipping lines to ensure accurate billing and cost control
Monitor shipments process and proactively update clients.
Handle quotations, job costings & invoicing
Any other associated tasks
About you
The Requirements:
Experience in a similar role is essential for this role
Experience with CDS (Customs Declaration Service) is advantageous
Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
Able to communicate in Korean is advantageous
Able to prioritise & self manage workload
Can-Do attitude. Always doing the right thing, not the easy thing
Team Player. Willing to assist other departments where required.
