We’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our client’s growing and highly respected Finance Team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for a diverse client portfolio using Xero and Dext
- Processing invoices, payments, and expenses across both purchase and sales ledgers
- Reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with current HMRC requirements
- Assisting with self-assessment tax returns and corporation tax compliance
- Responding promptly to client queries while developing strong, long-term relationships
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver a high-quality, seamless service
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role
- Strong proficiency with Xero and Dext (essential)
- Solid knowledge of bookkeeping principles, VAT, and basic tax processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail
