Recruitment Solutions are proudly working with one of the UK’s largest Waste Management companies. Due to continued growth with the business and an ever increasing fleet of vehicles, we are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join the team on a permanent basis, based out of their Trafford Park depot.
Job summary
- Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
- 40 hours per week
- Temp-to-perm
- Salary: £19.24
About the role
- Service, maintenance and repairs of a range of HGV units and trailers above the minimum standard
- Breakdown cover out of hours on a rota basis
- Diagnosing and rectification of vehicle and trailer faults
- Preparing vehicles and trailers for MOT
- 6 Weekly inspections
About you
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in HGV maintenance and repair preferred
- Fully compliant with all company health and safety policies
- Able to work unsupervised or as part of a team on larger jobs
- Class 1 license preferable but not essential
- Welding Experience preferable but not essential
