We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our Client who import/export goods on a global scale. This role will be to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while supporting the wider business including ensuring the smooth running of the office on a daily basis.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing accurate monthly management accounts
- Working closely with external accountants
- Managing short- and long-term cashflow forecasts and annual budgets
- Producing weekly and monthly financial reports
- Managing Sales & Purchase Ledger, credit control and payment runs
- Processing payroll and related submissions
- Completing bank, balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
- Producing accounts up to trial balance and submitting VAT returns
- Acting as the main point of contact for HMRC and other external bodies
- Supporting office administration, basic HR and operational tasks
- Providing direct support to the Managing Director
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a similar Finance Manager / Office Manager role
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
- High proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Positive, flexible and hands-on approach
