Role: HGV Class 1 Driver

Location: Didcot

Hours: Full Time, Night shifts. (Various start times available)

Pay: £23.08 per hour

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join an industry & market leading business, from the Regional Head Office in Didcot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate the vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
  • Assist in loading & unloading of goods
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage and any incidents or delays
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, delivery protocols and customer service

Candidate Expectations:

  • Valid & in date CPC
  • No more than 6 points on licence
  • Physically fit and able, as there is manual work involved in loading / unloading

Working Days, Hours & Salary:

  • 2 Nights off per week. Scheduled & on a rota for consistency.
  • £23.08 per hour, for works between 22:00 - 06:00
  • £18.46 per hour, for works between 06:00 - 22:00
  • Working hours - Night shifts, start times from 4pm onwards
  • 1 hour break (paid)
