About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Sales Estimator to support the growth of a leading organisation operating within the high-security sector. You’ll be responsible for preparing detailed quotations and tender submissions, managing customer enquiries, and maintaining a proactive sales pipeline. The role involves close collaboration with internal departments to ensure proposals are accurate, competitive, and delivered on time. Initially, the position will be office-based during training, transitioning to a hybrid work pattern once fully familiar with company systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming customer enquiries via email and phone
  • Prepare accurate quotations and tender documentation
  • Ensure all submission requirements are completed in full and on time
  • Liaise with internal teams to meet client expectations
  • Maintain and update CRM and tender databases
  • Manage and develop your own pipeline of enquiries
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with both new and repeat customers
  • Conduct timely follow-ups to convert quotations into confirmed sales

About You

  • Proven experience in estimating, construction, or technical sales
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident working independently as well as within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own transport (due to location)

Experience working within secure, critical, or government-related industries will be an advantage.
