Timber Assembly Operative
to join a busy manufacturing team in Ashford.
This is a
temp-to-perm opportunity with an immediate start available , offering long-term prospects for the right candidate. The role Assemble timber products and components
Measure, cut and prepare timber materials
Use hand and power tools safely
Follow drawings, specifications and instructions
Check finished products for quality
Maintain a clean and safe working area
Work effectively as part of a production team
The ideal candidate Previous timber, assembly, manufacturing or construction experience would be beneficial
Comfortable carrying out practical, hands-on work
Able to perform physical tasks and work accurately
Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
A good understanding of workplace health and safety
Own transport is essential due to the location
Hours Monday to Friday, daytime hours
43 hours per week
Optional overtime available
