Temporary Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Folkestone, Kent Contract: Temporary (9 Months) Start Date: August/September 2026 Hours: MondayThursday, 8:00am5:00pm | Friday, 8:00am4:00pm Working Week: 42 hours (30-minute lunch break) Pay Rate: Excellent We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join a well-established manufacturing site in Folkestone on an initial 9-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting the maintenance, reliability and continuous improvement of production and plant equipment. The Role As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently. Working as part of a small engineering team, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, equipment testing and continuous improvement activities to maximise plant performance and minimise downtime. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned, preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance on production and plant equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently. Complete routine inspections and testing to ensure equipment operates within specification. Troubleshoot PLC and robotic systems where required. Prioritise maintenance work in line with production requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives, including automation developments and SMED projects.
