We are currently recruiting for an exciting ongoing temporary opportunity for a Process Engineer to join a well-established and innovative manufacturing environment based in Folkestone. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineering professional looking to gain hands-on involvement in the development, scale-up and continuous improvement of products from pilot stage through to full industrial production.
Reporting directly to the Senior Process Engineer, you will play a key role in helping to ensure manufacturing processes remain efficient, compliant, safe and of the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Support process development and scale-up activities from pilot to production
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
- Help ensure processes are robust, compliant and operating efficiently
- Participate in process validation and GMP-related activities
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and process-related issues
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality and engineering
- A degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- 2–3 years’ manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of GMP, process validation and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Good project management and organisational ability
- A proactive and adaptable approach
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
- Immediate start
