The Opportunity
A highly regarded and growing accountancy practice in Watford is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Senior / Assistant Manager to join its expanding tax team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, acting as a trusted adviser while delivering a broad range of compliance and advisory services. You'll work closely with Partners and senior leadership, helping to drive client success while supporting and developing junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients and acting as their primary point of contact
- Reviewing and preparing corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with current legislation and HMRC requirements
- Advising clients on tax planning opportunities to improve efficiency and minimise tax liabilities
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through proactive and commercially focused advice
- Conducting research into complex tax matters and preparing clear recommendations
- Managing multiple client assignments and ensuring work is delivered accurately and on time
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team
- Collaborating with colleagues across Accounts, Audit, and Advisory teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions
- Monitoring changes in tax legislation and advising clients accordingly
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm's Tax department
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong Corporate Tax experience gained within an accountancy practice or specialist tax environment
- ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Excellent technical knowledge of UK Corporate Tax legislation and compliance requirements
- Strong client-facing and relationship management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Previous experience reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues
- A proactive and commercially minded approach to client service
