Overview
A well-established and highly successful accountancy firm is on the lookout for a new Audit Senior to join their growing team. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday) with a hybrid working structure.
Salary is dependent on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.
Duties
- Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Prepare audit work and review tasks completed by junior team members
- Monitor workflow and communicate progress with clients and stakeholders
- Research and resolve audit issues, escalating complex matters as needed
- Prepare audit completion documentation including Going Concern assessments
- Supervise, coach and develop junior staff
- Maintain audit administration and ensure compliance requirements are met
- Act as key point of contact for clients during fieldwork
- Attend client meetings including planning, review and close-down sessions
- Support business development activities including networking and pitches
What we're looking for
A successful candidate will ideally be qualified in ACA/ACCA but part-qualified applicants may still be considered. Only strong UK practice background with audit exposure can be considered for this role and you must live within a 1hr commute.
