Recruitment Alba are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 (LGV1 / Cat C+E) ADR Drivers for our client operating from multiple depots across Central Scotland, including Alloa and Glasgow. We have a range of opportunities available with both day and night shifts, offering flexibility for full-time or ad hoc work. This role involves trunking, running and dropping between depots, ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with ADR and transport regulations.
Duties will include:
- Trunking and depot-to-depot deliveries
- Running and dropping loads
- Completing delivery paperwork and digital records
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Ensuring compliance with driver hours, tachograph and ADR regulations
- Maintaining high standards of safety at all times
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (LGV1 / Cat C+E) driving licence
- Valid ADR licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 / ADR experience preferred
- Good knowledge of transport and safety regulations
Pay and benefits (PAYE):
- Days: £17.45 per hour
- Overtime (days): £19.78 per hour
- Nights: £20.24 per hour
- Weekends: £21.49 per hour
- Bank Holidays: £21.49 per hour
