OTAQ Connectors is a world leading marine technology company serving the diving, defence, offshore energy and aquaculture sectors. OTAQ has an enviable reputation as a leading manufacturer of underwater connectors, inserts, penetrators and moulded solutions with clients around the world including end users, distributors and multinational OEMs.
Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 7:00 - 17:00. These hours can be flexible if required. This is a full-time position based in Ulverston.
The role is to support in the Production, Testing and Manufacture of the product range to the highest standard.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation, manufacture and any testing of products produced.
- Responsible for the quality of products manufactured.
- Detailed wiring (soldering) and polyurethane moulding.
- Be a point of contact for status of production in work in progress.
- Inspect and maintain tooling and equipment as far as possible.
- Update all necessary job cards, as built drawings as required.
- Effective management of all stock movements.
- Perform the manufacture of products in-line with the production schedule.
- Work within the Health and Safety processes and procedures.
- Work experience preferred.
