Plumber – East of Scotland Location: East of Scotland (Mobile Role – Based from Rosyth, Dunfermline) Type: Permanent, Mobile Working Rate: £17.62 - £19.23 per hour (DOE) Pension: Government Stakeholder Vehicle: Provided Description Consilium Contracting Services Ltd is a fast-paced, 24/7 multi-trade contracting business operating throughout the East of Scotland, primarily serving Housing Associations and Councils within the social housing sector. Based from their office at Liberty Space, 15 Cromarty Campus, Rosyth, Dunfermline, they deliver a wide range of reactive plumbing maintenance, installations and repairs across Edinburgh, Fife, West Lothian, Dunfermline and the surrounding areas. Handling more than 2,500 jobs each month, the company specialises in reactive repairs, planned maintenance and refurbishment works, delivering high-quality services to social housing and care facilities. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced and fully qualified Reactive Repairs Plumber to join their expanding team. They are seeking someone with strong maintenance and reactive plumbing experience who has the potential to develop into a working supervisor. Previous experience within Social Housing would be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities * Reactive plumbing repairs within occupied and void social housing properties. * Plumbing installations and upgrades within kitchens, bathrooms and en-suite refurbishments. * Plumbing works associated with void property refurbishments. * Plumbing installations within care and respite facilities. * Medical adaptations and accessibility installations. * Installation and replacement of sanitary ware, including WCs, baths, basins and associated pipework. * Assist other trades where required to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Please Note * You may occasionally be required to work overtime or out of hours to ensure customers are not left without essential services. * Participation in an on-call rota (approximately 1 in 4) is required and is remunerated accordingly. * Working hours and attendance will be monitored, and the company expects a professional, reliable and ethical approach throughout the working day. * You will be expected to take care of the company vehicle, tools and equipment at all times.
