Consilium Contracting Services is a fast-paced, 24/7 multi-trade contracting business operating throughout the East of Scotland, primarily serving the public sector, including Housing Associations and Councils. They manage social housing stock and also provide services to private domestic homes across Edinburgh, Fife, West Lothian, Dunfermline and the surrounding areas. Handling over 2,500 jobs each month, the company specialises in reactive repairs, maintenance and refurbishment, ranging from small repairs to large-scale void works.
Due to continued success and growth, they are seeking a skilled Painter to join their team. The successful candidate will work both independently and alongside a wider team of tradespeople, delivering high-quality work across the East of Scotland. Experience working within Housing Associations or Local Authorities would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general painting and decorating works within void properties, kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and corridors in tenanted properties and care/respite homes.
- Complete painting repairs and touch-up work, including bannisters, skirtings, windows, coving and other maintenance tasks.
- Undertake decorating projects including wallpaper removal, wallpapering and other decorative finishes.
- Assist with kitchen and bathroom upgrades, refurbishments and larger planned maintenance projects.
- Be willing to work occasional overtime or out-of-hours when required to meet project deadlines.
