Established in 2007, The Showroom Ltd is a successful and growing retailer specialising in high-end bathroom, plumbing, and electrical products. Based in Kensington, we work with leading suppliers and a loyal customer base across London and the UK. We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Purchaser / Junior Buyer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is looking to develop a long-term career in purchasing and procurement. No direct purchasing experience? That's okay. We're happy to provide full training to the right candidate with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
About the Role
Working closely with our Managing Director, you'll play an important role in ensuring products are ordered accurately, suppliers are well managed, and stock levels are maintained to support our busy operation. With around 1,000 orders processed each month, you'll be part of a dynamic team where no two days are the same.
What You'll Be Doing
- Raising and processing purchase orders accurately and efficiently
- Handling supplier pricing queries and working with our accounts team
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
- Negotiating pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms
- Following up on order confirmations and updating delivery information
- Monitoring outstanding orders and communicating any delays
- Helping maintain appropriate stock levels across key product ranges
- Reviewing product demand and supporting purchasing decisions
- Assisting colleagues with other duties as needed

What We Offer
