Reporting To: Divisional Director
Location: Stoke on Trent
Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday 7.30am until 16.30 pm. Overtime is occasionally available at weekends.
Salary: £26,250.00 plus overtime/bonus.

Qualifications:
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Previous experience in a hire controller or depot-based role (plant/tool hire experience preferred) but not essential as training will be given.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficient with computer use and basic IT systems.
- Ability to be a team player and work under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all customer hire enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Process hire orders, returns, and off hires accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with drivers and workshop staff to schedule equipment deliveries (some driving will be required).
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, hire contracts and equipment availability.
- Help in the day to day running of the depot, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Ensure equipment is maintained, serviced, and presented to a high standard.
- Clean, service and test all equipment upon return from hire to ensure safety and compliance with the relevant regulations and to ensure our high company standards are maintained.
- Deputise, supervise, and support staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Carry out general housekeeping duties as required.
- Monitor health and safety compliance within the depot.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
