Due to continued growth, we are looking for professional and reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our expanding transport team at D.W. Clark & Sons Ltd. - Local Class 2 Multi-Drop: Ideal for drivers wanting local daytime work within the CM & CO postcode areas using tail-lift vehicles fitted with electric-assisted pump trucks to make deliveries easier and more efficient.
- General Class 2 Distribution: Nationwide delivery work available ranging from local runs to tramping and nights away, delivering a wide variety of goods across the UK.
- Moffett Driver Opportunities: Join our growing specialist fleet operating Moffett-mounted vehicles delivering throughout the country. Moffett experience is welcomed, but training opportunities may be available for the right candidate.
- Safely operate HGV Class 2 curtain-sided vehicles
- Complete deliveries efficiently and professionally
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
- Ensure loads are secured correctly and safely
- Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery records
- Communicate effectively with the transport office and customers
- Follow all company, road safety, and health & safety procedures
- Represent the company professionally at all times
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Good customer service skills
- Experience with curtain-sided vehicles preferred
- Moffett licence advantageous but not essential
- Clean licence preferred
