Document Controller Duties * Collate and review the daily work sheets produced by the Technicians operating on sites across the UK, Ireland and Europe. * Verify all documentation and records submitted by technicians are clearly written, all necessary fields have been completed, statements are accurate and make sense, not responsible for the technical content of complete documentation. * Transcribe hand written copies of documentation, records and statutory inspection certificates submitted by technicians into word and/or pdf formats and upload to the appropriate online project folders by site name, turbine reference and equipment reference where necessary within 48 hours. * Issue completed documents to clients, and/provide access to the client online records area. * Monitor and manage project records and documentation on the company intranet. * Manage and control client approved access to the company online records system. * Notify senior management of any defect reports as required by company defect reporting procedure. * Prepare records of previous project inspection and/or maintenance activities for upcoming work packages. * Preparing regular reports for the Operations Manager & Directors communicating progress against projects and on return time statistics. * Create the certificates of training when requested by the Training Centre manager and file on the database. * Support and assist the Wind Administration team where necessary. * Other duties and tasks to support of the Wind Division where requested by Directors and/or senior managers. * Other Adhoc duties as required Job Related Competencies * Demonstrate and maintain effective communication skills both orally and in writing. * Have the ability to process and file information and documentation methodically and accurately. * Have a keen attention to detail with the ability to identify errors in documentation and records. * Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word & Excel & Online databases * Ability to follow the company management systems to ensure achievement of QHSE and company objectives and targets and effective delivery of client’s expectations. * Ability to work both independently and as a member of a dynamic team Authorities * To provide approved clients with access to their organization’s section of the company online records system. * To discuss issues of completeness and accuracy of records and documentation being submitted by technicians. * To inform the company and divisional management team of any safety, environmental, quality or inspections related problems or concerns. * To stop any work activity which they believe it will or could cause significant injury to personnel, damage to the environment or damage to plant and/or equipment. 40 hours per week 8.00am – 5.00pm Full Time Permanent Range £25,500.00 – £27,000.00
