With an experienced team of tradespeople and a strong background within the construction industry, we undertake a variety of carpentry projects and pride ourselves on delivering high standards of workmanship. Due to ongoing work, we are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team working on projects in and around Cambridge, Essex and Suffolk. The Role We are looking for 4 reliable and experienced Carpenters who is confident carrying out a range of carpentry work and can work effectively both independently and as part of a wider site team. The successful candidate should be an experienced all-round carpenter with the ability to carry out work to a consistently high standard. Key Responsibilities Your work may include: * First and second fix carpentry * Kitchen fix carpentry * Roofing and joisting * Cladding * General carpentry and associated site work * Reading and working from drawings and specifications * Ensuring work is completed accurately and to a high standard * Working alongside other trades and site teams * Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment About You To be considered for this position, you should have: * A minimum of 3 years' carpentry experience * Strong first and second fix, kitchen fix carpentry skills * Experience of roofing, joisting and cladding * Your own tools * Your own transport * A full UK driving licence * Good attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work * The ability to work independently and as part of a team * A reliable and professional approach to work * The right to work in the UK What We Offer * Negotiable rate depending on experience * Regular payments * Opportunity for long-term work for the right candidate * Varied carpentry projects * The opportunity to work with an established and experienced company * Supportive working environment If you are an experienced Carpenter looking for ongoing work with an established carpentry contractor, we would be pleased to hear from you.
