Position Title: Bid and Proposal Coordinator Apprentice, Level 3 Location: Ipswich Office Salary: £14,722.76 (DOE) Standard Hours: 37.5 from Monday to Friday Type of Employment: Permanent Years of relevant experience: 1 year is desirable Desired start date: Immediate start Role Overview EPPH Limited have an opportunity to start a career in our Business Development team working alongside Commercial Business Manager. EPPH Limited is a mechanical and electrical building services contractor, specialising in the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems, plumbing, facilities management, drainage, and renewable energy technologies such as heat pumps and solar PV. This is a great opportunity to learn practical business and customer service skills while working towards a Certificate III in Business at the same time. You\’ll be part of a team that helps keep things running smoothly from compiling tender documentation to liaising with clients and handling important admin tasks. We’ll train you from day one — all you need is energy, ambition, excellent customer service, and willingness to learn. This post is subject to the satisfactory completion of a DBS check, the receipt of satisfactory references and any other statutory checks that are required for the post. All shortlisted candidates will be expected to complete an English and Maths assessment as required for the apprenticeship course. Key Responsibilities: * Use and update internal and external systems to ensure compliance. * Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings. * Support internal audits, quality assurance tasks, and pipeline checks. * Contribute to internal reporting and data accuracy across systems. * Attend internal meetings and take notes where required. * Communicate effectively with internal departments. * Handle incoming phone calls and forward messages appropriately. * Liaise with EPPH teams and clients professionally via phone and email. * Learn to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and document processes. * Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. * Assist with planning and organising travel, meetings, events as part of business operations. * Take part in regular training and development activities as part of the Level 3 Apprenticeship to meet apprenticeship goals. * Successful apprentices may have the opportunity to progress into permanent roles within the organisation. Many of our previous apprentices have gone on to secure permanent roles and progress into various positions within the company.
