Are you an experienced Workshop Service Engineer? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Workshop Service Engineer to join a global manufacturing organisation based in Peterborough. Qualifications
Essential:
- Strong engineering background in specialist vehicles or machinery
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
- Hands-on experience with diagnostics, maintenance, and repair
- Experience working with high-value capital equipment
- Understanding of IC engines, hydraulic, and auto-electrical systems
- Good IT skills (Microsoft packages)
Desirable:
- Formal training in vehicle or agricultural equipment
- Electrical and hydraulic qualifications
- Recognised engineering qualifications
Roles & Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and repair of sweepers, spreaders, airport support equipment, and mowing machinery
- Complete refurbishment and accident damage repairs
- Undertake warranty work and associated documentation
- Perform body building and welding tasks where required
- Accurately complete all administrative tasks including job sheets and parts requests
- Coordinate effectively with the Service Desk to manage workload
- Attend customer sites across the UK for repairs (occasional overnight stays required)
- Provide support to other UK locations when required
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
- Work collaboratively within the workshop team to meet deadlines and targets
- Promote continuous improvement and uphold company values
Requirements
As a Workshop Service Engineer, you will also be expected to:
