Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative or Admin? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for warehouse operator, on behalf of an industry-leading distributor/logistics company with the opportunity for on-going assessment.

Qualifications
Essential:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable but not essential
- Ability to carry out manual handling and physically demanding tasks
- Good attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and packing
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and a positive work ethic
- Being comfortable with resolving clients’ enquiries
- Computer / tablet literate
- Ability to always follow health and safety procedures
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends when required
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading labels and completing paperwork
Desirable:
- Fast-paced warehouse or Admin experience
Roles & Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate manual handling techniques
- Checking incoming goods against delivery notes and reporting any damages or discrepancies
- Sorting, organising, and storing stock in the correct warehouse locations
- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks, pump trucks, and (where trained) forklifts
- Preparing goods for dispatch, including labelling, wrapping, and securing pallets
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment always
- Assisting with regular stock takes and inventory checks
- Following health and safety procedures and complying with warehouse regulations
- Meeting daily productivity targets and working effectively as part of a team
- Supporting general warehouse duties as required by supervisors or management
- Resolving clients’ enquiries through phone call conversations
- Updating warehouse system Computer and table usage
