Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Time served Pipe Welder
- Proven TIG and MMA (Low Hydrogen) welding experience
- Experience with MIG welding
- Ability to weld to ASME or EN standards
- Ability to produce welds to radiographic standards
- Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipework
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols
- Familiarity with non-destructive and destructive weld testing
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Proof of relevant welding codings (current or expired)
Desirable
- Level 2 or Level 3 Welding/Fabrication Apprenticeship or Diploma
- CCNSG Safety Passport
- Forklift Truck Licence

- Carry out TIG and MMA welding on pressure pipework, vessels, tank headers and spool fabrications

TIG – MMA Coded Welder , you will also be expected to
- Be reliable, punctual and self-motivated
- Be willing to work overtime, weekends and work away when required
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have a strong understanding of Health & Safety, including welding fume control
- Be capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Take pride in producing high-quality workmanship with excellent attention to detail
- Identify and report welding issues for corrective action
- Weld materials ranging from
- 1mm to 32mm wall thickness
