Setting Out CAD Designer

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 DOE

A well-established manufacturer of bespoke joinery solutions is looking to recruit an experienced Setting Out CAD Designer to join its growing design team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong joinery background who enjoys producing accurate manufacturing drawings and working on high-quality bespoke projects.
The Role
- Produce detailed setting out and manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare drawings for manufacture, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Interpret architectural drawings and client specifications.
- Work closely with production and project teams throughout the design process.
- Generate material schedules/Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support manufacturing.
- Ensure all drawings and documentation are completed to a high standard and delivered on time.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience within the joinery industry is essential.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Experience producing setting out and manufacturing drawings.
- Ability to produce material schedules/Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Strong understanding of bespoke joinery manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical and architectural drawings.
