Are you an experienced Roofer with strong experience in flat roofing, felting and lead work? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join a professional and growing roofing company in Loughborough. This is a hands-on role requiring a reliable, skilled individual who can work independently and as part of a wider team. You will be responsible for carrying out roofing works across a range of projects, maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer satisfaction.

Essential:

  • CSCS Card
  • Proven experience as a Roofer
  • Experience working on flat roofs
  • Experience with felt roofing systems
  • Experience with lead work

Desirable:

  • Relevant roofing qualifications
  • Experience working across domestic and commercial projects
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Carry out flat roofing works to a high standard
  • Install and repair felt roofing systems
  • Carry out lead roofing, flashing and weatherproofing works
  • Identify and repair leaks and other roofing defects
  • Prepare roof surfaces and materials prior to installation
  • Work safely and efficiently while following company procedures
  • Ensure all roofing works are completed to the required specification and quality standards
  • Use roofing tools and equipment safely and correctly
  • Liaise professionally with colleagues, site managers and customers where required
  • Maintain a clean and organised working area
  • Identify potential issues and report them to the relevant supervisor or manager
  • Work to agreed schedules and maintain good timekeeping
  • Undertake any other roof-related duties as directed by the company

Requirements

As a Roofer, you will also be expected to:

  • Complete work to a consistently high standard
  • Follow drawings, specifications and instructions where required
