Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit and a strong understanding of BIM processes.
- Industry Experience: Solid experience working as a Revit Technician within architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC).
- Technical Knowledge: Excellent technical knowledge of construction detailing and design documentation.
- Education: Relevant qualification in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (HNC/HND or higher).
- Project Delivery: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to tight deadlines.
Desirable:
- Ambition to Lead: A readiness to step up, oversee model quality, and provide technical support/mentorship to junior team members.
- Experience working specifically within a civil/structural engineering consultancy environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Model Leadership: Lead the development and coordination of detailed 3D Revit models for architectural, structural, or MEP projects.
- Technical Documentation: Produce and oversee high-quality technical drawings, layouts, and schedules.
- Collaborative Design: Work closely with project leads, engineers, and architects to ensure design accuracy and efficiency.
- BIM Standards: Implement and uphold BIM standards, templates, and quality procedures across the team.
- Model Quality: Conduct model reviews, clash detection, and quality assurance checks.
- Team Mentorship: Provide mentorship and technical support to junior team members as you transition into this senior role.
- External Coordination: Liaise with external stakeholders to ensure smooth design coordination and data exchange.
