Qualifications
Essential:
- HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Engineering environment which includes experience of fault finding and repairing CNC multi‑axis machines
- Conversant with Fanuc & Siemens controls
Desirable:
- Experience and knowledge of present and emerging technology, up to date knowledge of equipment and techniques
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical maintenance to a wide range of CNC and specialist machinery
- Mechanical repairs to gearboxes, bearings, shafts, drive chains, pumps and tanks
- Manage and resolve reactive breakdown repairs, reducing machine downtimes to a minimum
- As required carry our major refurbishment of plant, equipment and machinery
- Carry out PPM
- PLC fault finding and interrogation
Requirements
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will also be expected to:
- Work across all company sites in Leicester
