Are you an experienced CAD Designer with strong Project Management skills? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced 2D & 3D CAD Designer/ Project Manager to join a market leading Point of Sale company based in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to work with major retail brands, taking ownership of projects from initial brief through design, manufacture and final delivery.

Qualifications
Essential:
- Strong expertise using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Proven background within POS, retail display, shopfitting or joinery manufacturing
- Experience managing projects from initial concept through to completion
- Excellent 2D and 3D CAD design skills
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacture (DFM)
- Experience producing detailed production drawings
- Workshop or manufacturing environment experience
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Desirable:
- Experience with CNC production drawings
- Knowledge of wood, laminates, finishes and retail display materials
- Experience working with premium retail brands and high end display projects
Roles & Responsibilities
- Producing high quality 2D and 3D designs for retail displays, POS solutions, shopfitting and bespoke projects
- Managing projects from concept through to manufacture, installation and completion
- Creating detailed production and manufacturing drawings
- Working closely with clients, suppliers, production teams and installers
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification
- Supporting design, development and continuous product improvement
- Liaising with workshop and production teams to ensure smooth project delivery
