Essential
- Previous experience within an HR or similar administrative role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as an initial point of contact for managers and employees on a range of HR queries, providing support on matters including annual leave, sickness absence, special leave and performance management.
- Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including preparing job vacancies, collating applications, arranging interviews, obtaining references and supporting the offer process.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees from start to finish.
- Maintain and update the HR system, ensuring employee information is accurate and up to date.
- Process starters and leavers and prepare contracts, variation letters and other HR documentation as required.
- Maintain electronic HR filing systems, ensuring records are accurate, secure and compliant with data protection requirements.
- Support the management of employee attendance, including absence reporting, return-to-work meetings and sickness review meetings.
- Provide administrative support for Health & Safety activities relating to employees, including risk assessments where required.
- Support the Practice Manager with the maintenance and development of HR policies and procedures and ensure the staff handbook remains up to date.
- Assist with twice-yearly appraisals and the coordination of internal training events.
- Carry out any other reasonable HR and administrative duties as required.
