Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Groundworker Gang for a project in Devon.
This is a hands-on groundworks opportunity requiring reliable, experienced operatives who can work as part of a gang and deliver high-quality membrane and groundworks activities.
The successful gang will have proven experience installing DPM (Damp Proof Membrane) and/or geotextile membrane, with additional membrane, civils, foundations and concrete experience advantageous.

Essential
- Proven experience as a Groundworker
- Hands-on experience installing DPM (Damp Proof Membrane)
- Experience installing Geotextile Membrane

- Civils, foundations and concrete preparation experience
- Roles & Responsibilities
- Install DPM and geotextile membranes in accordance with project requirements
- Carry out groundworks, preparation and associated works efficiently and to a high standard.
- Ensure membrane areas are correctly prepared, positioned and protected before following trades commence.
- Working safely and taking all necessary precautions to prevent danger and avoid injury.
- Working effectively as part of a groundworker gang and communicating with site management.
- Maintaining excellent timekeeping and attending site as agreed.
- Checking work areas and identifying potential issues before they affect progress.
- Maintaining a professional approach and keeping work areas clean, safe and organised.
- Demonstrating flexibility and willingness to travel to Devon for the duration of the project.
- Working as part of a reliable and experienced gang to meet site deadlines.
- Supporting other groundworks activities where required and within your experience.
- Being willing to work additional hours when required, including weekends where necessary.
- Undertaking any other ad-hoc duties as directed by the site management team.
Requirements
As a Groundworker Gang, you will also be expected to
- Follow site instructions, drawings, specifications and RAMS as required.
- Complete works accurately, efficiently and to the required site standard.
- Work cooperatively with the wider site team to maintain progress and quality.
