A well-established and highly respected Chartered Accountancy firm based in South Leicestershire is looking to appoint an experienced Financial Advisor to join their growing team. Role Overview
As a Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, compliant financial advice to clients while actively developing new business opportunities. Working closely with the wider accountancy team, you will have access to a steady stream of referrals alongside the opportunity to grow your own client book through networking and proactive business development. This role is ideally suited to a hungry, driven and highly organised advisor who thrives in a professional environment and is motivated by both client outcomes and financial success. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong relationship-building skills, capable of managing their own pipeline while delivering an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored financial planning advice across areas including pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through networking, referrals and professional relationships.
- Develop long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and supporting their long-term financial goals.
- Work closely with the accountancy team to identify opportunities within the existing client base and maximise cross-referral potential.
- Maintain accurate and compliant client records in line with FCA regulatory requirements.
- Manage your client portfolio effectively while ensuring excellent levels of service and retention.
- Achieve agreed revenue and growth targets through both advisory work and proactive business development.
About You
We’re looking for a driven, commercially minded Financial Advisor who is passionate about providing high-quality financial advice and building a successful client portfolio. This role would suit someone who is ambitious, organised and motivated by performance and growth, and who enjoys both advising clients and developing new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ experience working as a Financial Advisor / Independent Financial Advisor
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
- CAS (Competent Adviser Status) preferred
- Proven ability to generate new business and build a client portfolio
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with excellent time management and pipeline management
- Professional, client-focused and commercially driven
- Full UK driving licence preferred
