Qualifications
Essential:
- 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, depot operations, logistics or fleet engineering
- Excellent fault find and repair capabilities
- Strong technical background with three phase electrical installations and refrigeration/ HVAC systems
- Ability to manage planned/ preventative maintenance schedules, repair turnaround and vendor budgets
- Full, valid UK Driving License
Desirable:
- Refrigeration/ Electrical qualifications (F-Gas certification)
- Relevant NVQ credentials or engineering degree
Roles & Responsibilities
- Managing equipment inspection, maintenance, and repair activities across regional depots and third-party facilities
- Supervise repair vendors, surveyors, and service providers to ensure timely, cost-effective service
- Review and approve repair estimates, determining whether equipment should be repaired, sold, or decommissioned
- Investigate damage claims, equipment failures, and operational issues to implement corrective actions
- Accurately track equipment condition, history, and service data within company electronic systems
- Collaborate with logistics, operations, and customer support teams to optimize fleet availability
Requirements
