Are you an experienced Office Administrator?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an Office Administrator to join a busy construction business based in Castle Donington.

You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the office, coordinating engineers and external contractors, and ensuring jobs, schedules and resources are managed efficiently.

If you have previous experience in administration or operations support within a construction, engineering or similar environment, then this role could be for you!

Qualifications

Essential

  • Previous experience in an office administration, operations support or coordination role
  • Experience within a construction, engineering, facilities or similar environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment

Desirable

  • Experience coordinating engineers, contractors or field-based teams
  • Experience ordering parts, materials or equipment
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and other administrative systems
  • Roles & Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day office administration and support the smooth running of the business.
  • Book and schedule jobs with engineers, ensuring workloads and diaries are kept up to date.
  • Liaise with onsite engineers and external contractors to coordinate work and provide relevant updates.
  • Maintain engineer diaries and organise appointments, schedules and job requirements.
  • Arrange accommodation for engineers when required.
  • Order parts, materials and equipment to support ongoing jobs and projects.
  • Track job progress and ensure relevant information is communicated to the appropriate teams.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support across the business.
