An award-winning solicitors firm in Stoke on Trent is looking for a full-time Conveyancer to join its already four-strong team of fee earners and play a pivotal role in assisting clients with the purchase and sale of residential properties, providing expert legal advice and ensuring smooth transactions from start to finish. As the Residential Conveyancer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and leasehold transactions.
- Provide clear and professional legal advice to clients, ensuring they are informed at every stage of the process.
- Conduct legal research, preparing and reviewing contracts, and liaising with clients, estate agents, and other professionals.
- Review title deeds, searches, and mortgage documentation, and advising clients on any potential risks or issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and procedures to ensure smooth and timely transactions.
- Manage client expectations and delivering excellent customer service throughout the process.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
To be successful in this role, the Residential Conveyancer will have the following skills and attributes:
- Qualified Solicitor, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years experience in residential conveyancing.
- Strong knowledge of property law, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and leasehold transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and understandable way.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines while providing excellent client care.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- A team player who is also able to work independently and take initiative.
You will work from the office in Stoke on Trent, Monday to Friday. Flexible working options will be considered for the right candidate.
