An award-winning landscaping and garden maintenance company based in Staffordshire is looking for an Experienced Gardener to join its growing team and help deliver exceptional standards of garden care across a portfolio of premium private gardens and commercial grounds. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced gardener, or someone with a genuine passion for horticulture looking to further develop their career, to join a supportive and ambitious business that invests in training, development, and progression.

As the Experienced Gardener, your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out professional garden maintenance, including mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, pruning, weeding, and seasonal garden care.
  • Maintaining lawns to a high standard, including scarification, aeration, and top dressing.
  • Working alongside a team of gardeners and supporting apprentices when required.
  • Delivering work to a consistently high standard with excellent attention to detail.
  • Communicating professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Following health and safety procedures and safe working practices at all times.

The successful candidate will have:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture, Landscaping, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in garden maintenance or grounds care.
  • Good plant knowledge and a passion for horticulture.
  • Experience using professional gardening equipment.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential); trailer licence advantageous.
  • The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

This is a full-time, site-based role in Yarnfield, Staffordshire, working across Staffordshire and surrounding areas. Hours are Monday to Friday with an early morning 6.45am start.
