A rapidly expanding electrical and building services contractor in Stoke-on-Trent is looking for an Electrical Installation Testing Engineer to join its dedicated team and deliver high-quality installations across commercial, industrial, and education-sector projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out initial verification, periodic inspection, and electrical testing across commercial and industrial projects.
  • Complete Electrical Installation Certificates, Minor Works Certificates, and Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
  • Testing single and three-phase electrical installations.
  • Identify defects, non-compliances, and remedial works.
  • Produce accurate certification and results.
  • Liaise with project managers, site teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery of works.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in electrical inspection and testing within commercial or industrial environments.
  • City & Guilds 2391, 2394/2395 or equivalent inspection and testing qualification.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • ECS/JIB Gold Card preferred.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
